Listening to your read I kept looking at the Van Gogh paitning and hearing your cadence bounce off each of his stars. Once again, I think you completely captured the poem in your reading, rendering it musically and precisely at once.
Thank you, Ben. I am so glad that you could combine the visual and the auditory sensory experiences … this is the magic of human perception, how versatile it is and how rich it can be, both in ecstacy and agony …
You should also record the Dylan Thomas piece, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. I think your rendition would be ‘stellar.’
